This is how they silence you

You stand against their racist comments on refugees; you challenge their misogynist views on women; you question their understanding of gender and sexuality; you oppose to their idea of  what aesthetics, normal and beauty are; you disprove what they think equality, democracy and freedom are; you test their choices; you question their perspective of love, sex, relationship and marriage. And they hate you, they wanna break you. They can't refute your argument because your argument is strong and because they are clueless. As they know this, they use one thing to drag you down: your sexuality, your sex, your looks and character. They create a persona, which is far from reality, to belittle you. They tell you that if you were fucked you would not be feminist, you would not be so unhappy, you would not be discontent, you wouldn't be so aggressive. They tell you that you are ugly, you are jealous, you're fat, you are a bitch, you're a whore, you are an attention seeker, you need professional help, you're mental, you have issues. They call you names and they put ugly adjectives in front of your name. This is how they silence you. Because you're a woman, because you're a woman who speaks her mind and questions things.
